About The Book:
D.H. Lawrence is truly characteristic of our time: he is inevitably a guide to the forward movement of the present humanity. In his self-improving struggles he is constantly improving his environment, stretching out into the new worlds opened up to him by his enduring endeavour. With his unique, prolific and multi-faceted personality, made up of genuine frustrations and complicated psychic activities, he reviews and renews the world man lives in, restoring it to its position of prominence, by replacing, or sometimes destroying, the old and obsolete norms of the world. His love for mankind along with the reverence for human dignity and significance heals up his own tortured soul that, in turn, heals up the psychic dilemma of this new epoch by psychoanalyzing the apparatus itself in his definitely circumscribed novels.
